The quintessential French confection - Macaron (not macaroon!) - is famously tricky to make. In this class you will learn our tried and tested recipe and take home a box of beautiful and delicious macarons. You will learn:
- The Italian meringue technique
- Macaronage - how to fold macaron batter
- Pipping techqniues
- A simple and versatile ganache recipe for macaron filling.
This class is about 2.5 hours long, coffee, tea and a home baked snack will be served. You will be able to take all the Macarons (about 14-16 pieces) you make home - that's if you can resist eating them all right away!
