Apple Cider Bread Rolls / Apple and Blackberry Jam
Apple is the quintessential flavour of Autumn, and you can bake so much more with apples other than an apple pie! In this class we are combining sourdough with apple cider to make bread rolls full of flavours. We will also be making some apple and blackberry jam.
You will learn:
- how to build and maintain a sourdough starter
- how to make a 'hybrid' bread dough with sourdough and instant yeast
- tips on fermenting bread dough at home
- cooking jam at home using pectin
You will take home SIX bread rolls, a sourdough starter and one jar of apple blackberry jam.
