Our annual Christmas bread journey takes us to Germany this year, we will be making the traditional Stollen packed with Christmas flavours, dried fruits and a homemade marzipan that is not overly sweet.
In this class you will learn:
- how to make a Stollen dough
- how to make candied citrus peels (by demonstration)
- how to make a homemade marzipan
- how to shape Stollen
- tips on fermentation, baking and storage of Stollen
Each person will take home three Stollen (each weighing 250-300g) and 5-6 pieces of Gingerbread Cookies decorated with royal icing while we wait for the Stollen to ferment and bake.
