Madeleines in four flavour combinations
We are giving the timeless classic French tea cake a fancy upgrade in flavours and looks! Join us to learn a tried and tested recipe that ticks all the boxes of a perfect madeleine - golden exterior, moist and the distinctive bump on its back. In this class we will modify this classic recipe to elevate madeleines using different techniques, turning them into four unique versions:
Rosella & Blueberry - classic vanilla madeleine filled with a rosella jam, coated with a blueberry glaze and decorated with edible flowers
Matcha and Strawberry - matcha madeleine, coated with matcha chocolate and decorated with freeze dried strawberries
Passion Fruit and Coconut - coconut madeleine, filled with a passionfruit curd, and decorate with a passionfruit glaze and desiccated coconut
Peach Bellini - classic madeleine, filled with a mint & peach gel, topped with roasted peach and champagne
Due to the high number of elements in this class, this class will involve both demonstration and hands-on learning with each participant assembling and decorating your own set of 12 madeleines (3 of each flavour) to take home.
Launching this Mother's Day, this class will be a perfect experience to be shared with mum!
